Our Summer

I forgot about my blog!  This baby inside of me has taken all my creativity, my good mood, my energy, my patience and obviously my memory. I sometimes feel like I'm a walking zomby.  So now that I've remembered that I have a blog...let me catch you up on our family happenings.

My cousin in Nebraska, Jodi got married in July.  So we headed east for the event...all 13 of us.  The kids were so excited to fly and stay in hotels.  It was quite the adventure.
We made a quick stop in Denver on our way home, to visit our Anderson cousins (Garrett side).

The Denver Cousins

Here we are headed to the airport...ready to leave Idaho for Nebraska

Keiser's 1st airplane ride.

Ummm... Kinlee was overly thrilled...squeeling infact.

Josie, Kinlee & MaKenzie

We made sure to book hotels WITH pools for our fish.

They hopped in the carriage after the wedding

Keiser doing was he does best...demolishing cake.

Sweating at the reception...none of us were used to the humidity.

Dancing with my boy.

Josie and Kinlee dancing.

My dad was so happy to be back in Nebraska...where he grew up.

Ok...toward the end Keiser had had it.  He was hot and tired and had been such a good sport.

Waiting at the airport to head home.
We had a great time.  Can't wait for our next big family trip!

For the 3 months leading up the rodeo I was slammed.  My kids' summer was a blurr.  So the 1 week after the rodeo and before school started we tried to pack in the fun.  We hit the zoo, tried to go to the movies (but some of us ended up sick), visited Mamm and Pappy in Bruneau and played a little in town.

Keiser...taking a moment to ride the lion.
A little ride in the safari jeep.

Kambell's first day of 1st Grade
Kambell and her friend Bailey before school started.

Kinlee's 1st day of Kindergarted...so excited!

Toothless

It's official...Kambell lost her very first tooth!
We knew it was loose, but she didn't really want to wiggle it
(for fear it would hurt).
Then all of a sudden it was gone.

Next came a shiny silver dollar.

T-Ball Year #2

Kasey has decided to co-coach Kambell's T-ball team again this year.
Kambell has improved greatly since last year.
She now HUSTLES. It's fun to watch her.

It's Finally SUMMER

Well, we finally had a hot day!
The kids were so anxious to put swimsuits on and get WET!

Telly hasn't shown any signs of biting Keiser, but Keiser thought he'd give Telly a bite.

After ice cream sandwiches

A full sprint :o)

Bruneau Dunes

We made a stop at the Bruneau Dunes when we were home for Memorial Day.

Kasey & Kambell posing in the breeze.

Pappy & Paisley enjoying a moment.

Kinlee trying to shield the sand from her eyes.

Slinky...
Keiser slinked from the top to the bottom of the hill...
and proceeded to fill his pants (& diaper) with sand.

My Mom and Dad heading down the hill.

Happy 10th Birthday Josie

Our niece, Josie invited us to her 10th birthday party at her grandparent's house. The kids had a blast in the pool and with all the "big girls."

Keiser enjoyed the Cheetos...
...the pool toys, and of course the attention.

It turned out to be a perfect day.

Our other niece, MaKenzie and her friend Lexi were great helpers.
They played with the girls all afternoon.

Graduation Day

Kindergarten Graduation:  Kambell and Mrs. Maybon
(mouth full of bubblegum :o)

Miss Ihli giving Kambell her diploma.

The singing program that Mr. Savall prepared was great. Each child new every word!

Then the party continued at Gregg & Randee's later that evening. All the graduates were honored as well as a few birthdays! It was fun!

Kindergarten Field Day

Wind and rain caused field day to be in the gym. A little chaotic, but fun!  Kambell competed (well not really competed, but took part in) activities with a parachute, throwing stuffed dinosaurs, tug-of-war, crab walking and many more. The parents even had a tug-of-war....Kasey's team won!

Popcicles rounded out the morning. Keiser was in heaven.
