Boy or Girl????

We will let you know in about 4 & 1/2 months...

Finally a little time to play!

During the months of April, May and June I wasn't feeling so hot. Just found out we were pregnant and was queezy from morning til night, exhausted and not willing to put forth much effort. Then my time in July through the 1st week of August was filled by doing rodeo stuff...marketing, advertising, collecting potential sponsors and organizing. So now that all that is over I have really felt like I've neglected Kambell and Kinlee...and Kasey. So we have made a fun week out of this one. On Tuesday we went to Lakeview Park in Nampa. It's a great water park for little kids. We ended up running into our friend Steph and her two little kids there. The girls spent the afternoon splashing and screaming. I'm not a water person (that is putting it lightly) so I was awfully proud of myself for accomplishing the day at the water park. So much fun was had that I forgot to take pictures so we'll have to go back...
Then today was my 20 week ultrasound appointment. Kasey had to fly to Salt Lake so he couldn't make the appointment. The girls were excited to "see" the baby so I brought them along. We made a fun day out of it. We hit the coffee hut first and got yummy treats, then on to the zoo. The entire way there the girls were trying to guess where we were heading. They finally guessed it...as we pulled in to the parking lot. It was like a treasure hunt. We'd see an animal and then rush to the next one fast fast fast. It sure wore them out.
Then we were off to my doctor appointment. Of course, the baby was not cooperating. It's head was tucked down and it wasn't moving a bit. So I had to get up and move around then we tried it again...nothing changed. She was finally able to see all she needed to see to make sure the baby was developing and doing ok. We'll try it again in 8 weeks. Kambell and Kinlee's eyes were as big as silver dollars when they recognized the baby's profile, a hand, a leg, etc. I think it made it seem a little more real to them. 21 weeks down and counting...
We had a fun day...just wish Kasey could have joined us. But when he returns from Salt Lake he and I are having dinner with some friends. So he'll get his attention, too! We are so blessed to have this time together and that we are able to spend it having fun and making memories together. When #3 comes along it all may come to a screeching halt...at least for awhile.

Make-up...Dress up...Polish

Kambell and Kinlee get so excited when our neighbors show up with their make-up and fingernail polish. They all head straight for the dress up clothes. Before Kambell and Kinlee went to Mamm and Pappy's they got to get one good play day in (Thank you Jamie!).

Kambell was very excited to be in the "beauty chair" first. Kinlee just poses like a professional and look how good Jake is being... just sitting back and waiting for the primping to come to an end so they can go run and play.Kinlee lost her top to Kambell, Emma and Annie squeezed into toddler size dress up clothes...but nothing mattered because they were all together.

A Beautiful Wedding

After sending Kambell & Kinlee to Bruneau to stay with
Mamm & Pappy (my parents),
Kasey and I headed to Lake Tahoe...
After a long, long trip on the road we arrived to a beautiful
resort like community,
where we adventured and relaxed.
Taylor (Kasey's cousin) and Heather's wedding was perfect.
It was so unique and everything was beautiful.
We enjoyed spending time with the Landa families and each other.

Mr. & Mrs. Landa...
Corby & Boston...checking the water.Uncle Kasey lovin' on The Boss
We had a great time and hopefully we'll get a chance to visit
Lake Tahoe again...
Kambell & Kinlee would love it, too.

4th of July

We packed our camp trailer and headed for Silver City for the 4th of July weekend. I can't imagine having a better time anywhere else. There were so many members of our family there, the kids played and played til they were completely exhausted, so much good food was shared, races were run ("owies" were made), memories were told around the camp fire and then our weekend came to an end. We can't wait for next year...watch out Silver City.

We put together a "float" for the parade...we filled Kasey's pick up with all the kids. The title was '7 Generations Lovin' Silver City'. There have been 7 generations of the Adams Family that have lived in and enjoyed Silver City (including us). We filled 2- 5 gallon buckets with candy and I bet they ate an entire bucket themselves.

Here is Kasey in the lead...

Here is the "owie" I spoke of earlier. We're not sure if he was tripped or if he just tripped, but 5 days later he's still hurting really bad. He tore up his hip, hand and knee.

Here is our whole group...about 35 members of the Adams Clan.

Kambell took this picture of us by the creek, under the old dance hall.

Kambell and Kinlee recently hosted a dance party for...well...for themselves. They had a blast. Kinlee makes the best faces and can shake it like no other. Kambell, too is full of moves.

Puppies, Getting Dressed & Commercials...oh my!

Our good friend Gayle called one day and asked if Kambell could be in a canal safety commercial with her. Sure, why not right? Well Kambell wasn't as excited about it as I was. It took some bribing to get her to agree... a little ice cream and a day out with mom did the trick. She just had to stand there, but it was pretty thrilling for us to see the finished product. Stay tuned to Channel 7 (NBC) between the hours of 9am & 4pm from now through August.
This morning I got in the shower and then I heard the pitter-patter of little feet coming my way. Kambell and Kinlee decided to join me. So I soaped them up, rinsed them off and sent them on their way while I finished up. To my surprise they were "dressed" and their hair was "done" when I got out of the shower. They were so proud. Kinlee said to me "Mama, do I look great?" It was so cute. I'm glad they are finally taking interest in dressing them self. I was concerned that they would forever wait for me to set out their clothes and then beg them to get dressed in the morning. As you can see Kambell chose her sparkly shirt from her clogging recital.
We have a new addition to our family. This is Suzie. She has brought great joy to our house and a little mischief, too. We will need to replace our screen door and a couple pairs of flip flops...maybe fill in some holes in the yard and garden...but overall she is such a good little puppy. She was given to us by "Teacher Erica," Kambell's preschool teacher. She gets hauled around by the girls often. She's learning to be very tolerant!
Now if I could just train Kasey to keep her outside :o)

Taylor Swift Concert

When I received an email to buy tickets for the Taylor Swift concert online...a day early- I knew I couldn't pass that up. Kambell & Kinlee adore her. You should see them "sing" her songs. Kambell's got the lyrics down pretty good, and Kinlee ...well Kinlee thinks she does. It's cute. And the concert was a blast. Taylor Swift is so energetic and enthusiastic. The crowd loved her.

Posing infront of Taylor's awesome tour bus.

Kambell was belting it out with Kellie Pickler.

During pottybreak #3: The first band, Glorianna, was signing autographs in the lobby. The line was a mile long. Kinlee and I weaved through to get to the bathroom (fast) and when we came back out the band was finally getting to their table to meet and greet. The 4 bandmembers noticed Kinlee and were waving and saying hi. She could have cared less, but I thought it was pretty neat. One of the guys proceeded to wave her over to him and he gave her a guitar pick. But Kinlee's highlight of the entire night: she got to have a pkg of licorice!

That licorice I was talking about...

"Love Story" performance...our favorite. Notice all the dancers below.

One of her many many costume changes.

Kambell was really getting into it with the crowd.
We topped the night off with a stop at McDonald's. The girls had a great time!

Busy Busy

Kambell's last day of Preschool with Teacher Erica was last week.
She sang songs and danced with their sticks at the final program.
She is already very excited for next year.

Mamm (Judy), Kambell & Kinlee are planting flowers
at the cabin over Mother's Day.

Kinlee & Kasey taking a break from fishing.

We decided to plant a garden along with our neighbors.
Here is our first day of planting.

Open Door

I've always wanted to be that house in town that had an open door to everyone. I've admired those parents that let their kids always have friends over to play, to eat, to study. But there is just something in my make up that has prevented me from being open to this idea. I guess I'm always worried about my house being clean enough, toting kids around in my car, etc. Well Kasey has let me know that none of that is a worry and so we've had an open door for some time now. I've enjoyed every moment of it. Kambell and Kinlee have loved it the most. They just love to have playmates and cousins and friends over. They are so great at entertaining and playing and sharing...well most of the time. Here are some cute moments.

So if you or your children want to come over one afternoon...our door will be open.
