Baby Keiser

Ok so at my last doctor appointment she said I would probably be giving birth within the next 2 days...that was the week before Christmas. So I sat and waited! Nothing was happening. Finally on December 28th at 4 in the morning I started having contractions. They were about 8 minutes apart for the next several hours. So Kasey finally insisted we head to Boise...we arrived at St. Luke's about 10:30 am and checked into Labor and Delivery. They sent us walking around for about an hour to see if things would progress...nothing. So they sent us out walking for another hour...contractions were now about 4 minutes apart but still not where they wanted me to be. So they discharged us! Kasey and I were so discouraged. Contractions were close and very painful and we were to drive an hour back home??? So we took it upon ourselves to go to a movie. This way we could waste a couple of hours and still be close to the hospital. Well Kasey missed the exit and we ended up in Meridian at the movie theater. We watched the previews and then Sherlock Holmes began. 30 seconds later...my water broke. Good thing we didn't drive home. Three hours later our baby boy was born. We were honestly shocked that our baby was a boy. The doctor knew that we had two girls and when she held him up and said "LOOK"...it took each of us several seconds to realize our new blessing. Kasey went and got Kambell & Kinlee from the waiting room so they could meet Keiser first. Kinlee stood at the end of the bed with a look on her face that said "you guys were serious, there really was a baby in there." Kambell immediately started talking "baby talk" to Keiser and just patting him like a little mother. Soon after that the entire family joined us in the room to meet Keiser.

Kasey and I are always anxious to get out the hospital. We got them to release us early and we headed for home about 1:oo pm the next day.

Keiser doesn't get a moment to himself, he has been bombarded with kisses & loves from day 1.

Kinlee was a little surprised at all his..."features." Having a boy will surely be a learning experience for us all.

Keiser's first bath was a little shocking, but he has loved them ever since.

Everyone asks...who does he look like. I think he looks a lot like Kasey, but he's a good mix of Kambell & Kinlee as babies, too.

We are so happy that he is finally here. We are enjoying each moment with our new little boy.
