Happy 10th Birthday Josie

Our niece, Josie invited us to her 10th birthday party at her grandparent's house. The kids had a blast in the pool and with all the "big girls."

Keiser enjoyed the Cheetos...
...the pool toys, and of course the attention.

It turned out to be a perfect day.

Our other niece, MaKenzie and her friend Lexi were great helpers.
They played with the girls all afternoon.

Graduation Day

Kindergarten Graduation:  Kambell and Mrs. Maybon
(mouth full of bubblegum :o)

Miss Ihli giving Kambell her diploma.

The singing program that Mr. Savall prepared was great. Each child new every word!

Then the party continued at Gregg & Randee's later that evening. All the graduates were honored as well as a few birthdays! It was fun!

Kindergarten Field Day

Wind and rain caused field day to be in the gym. A little chaotic, but fun!  Kambell competed (well not really competed, but took part in) activities with a parachute, throwing stuffed dinosaurs, tug-of-war, crab walking and many more. The parents even had a tug-of-war....Kasey's team won!

Popcicles rounded out the morning. Keiser was in heaven.

Preschool Comes To An End

Kinlee has loved every minute of preschool this year.  Especially her beloved Teacher Erica.  We've not made a concrete decision for sure, but we think she'll be going on to Kindergarten next year. So we are done with preschool for another couple of years.  Then watch out Teacher Erica, Keiser's coming at ya!

Raft Trip

Kasey, his brother Corby & friend Jim headed out with a couple other friends for a weekend raft trip. They had a blast. I'm sure it won't be the last trip of the summer.

Mother's Day

We headed to Pine for Mother's Day. There was lots of yummy food, time to rest, time to run and play and family to enjoy. It was great!
This is a usual combination:  Kasey and Kinlee

Keiser took part in the resting, too.

My beautiful niece, Mackley.

For some odd reason, Keiser actually enjoys the taste of beer.
He's a magnet to empty (or not so empty) beer bottles.

Kinlee posing for her Momma.

Paisley at the pool...another beautiful niece.

My sister, Kelli swears by the "pencil test." It predicts the sex and number of babies you will or have had. She tested darn near everyone at the cabin and was right on with who and how many babies each have had. Here she is testing our dad.  It was right! So if it's correct with me...we'll have a baby girl come December.

It took Keiser a minute but he became very fond the pool.  The picture isn't very clear because of the steam, but the expression on his and Kasey's faces are priceless.  He thought he was pretty neat kicking in the deep end.

This is another usual position.  Kasey reading bedtime stories to Paisley, Kambell, Kinlee and Keiser.
Happy Mother's Day to all of you inspiring mothers and grandmother's out there. I love you!

Our Trip To The Dam

The forecast was good, so we took the opportunity to take a drive and have a picnic.
 To the damn we go...
Kasey caught a fish within 15 minutes of parking!

The boys (Grandpa, Keiser, Corby & Boston) were all about exploring the fish.

This is a typical stance for these 3.

I'm so glad that Kasey's Grandma and Grandpa Kent were able to join us.  It was a perfect day:  family, soaking up the sun and kids running free.
